Founded in 1964 by NEA Jazz Master, Dr. Billy Taylor, and arts patron, Daphne Arnstein, Jazzmobile's mission is to present, promote, propagate and preserve America's Classical music, JAZZ. During its long history of providing jazz education and performance programs, it has been a model for other similar programs and organizations. Only Jazzmobile has been making an impact for over 47 years!

Jazzmobile's programs, resources and services, enhanced by our broad reach across geographic barriers; aim to enhance the quality of life for people of all ages and backgrounds. We seek to be the premier resource for life-long learning, enrichment and engagement around the culture and music of jazz.
