Louis Armstrong Legacy Program and Celebration

The Louis Armstrong Legacy Program and Celebration enriches students’ musical and personal growth with a curriculum based on the artistry and spirit of Louis Armstrong. As many as 15 schools have participated in one school year.  Mentors do more than help students to learn and perform the music, they engage them in the process of learning to understand and articulate their unique creative voice. The program concludes with participating ensembles performing for a public audience at the culminating Celebration concert.
